About Dr. Arora
Dr. Arora has an extensive background in Adult Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Interventional Pain Medicine. His medical education began at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on addiction and chronic pain, before pursuing an Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship from Nova Southeastern University/Larkin Hospital. Dr. Arora also completed a Masters of Science in Human Anatomy from Wright State University and a visiting fellowship in Neuromodulation (ECT, TMS, tDCS) from Duke University. He remains active in academia with several publications and speaking engagements.
Building Resova Health
Dr. Arora founded the practice that is now Resova Health while treating patients with addiction, many of whom were also living with depression, anxiety, trauma or chronic pain. The model he worked in allowed him to treat only the addiction and refer the rest of the person elsewhere. His training in psychiatry, addiction medicine and pain medicine let him see the same patient through three clinical lenses, so he set out to build a practice where one team treats the whole person. He did not build it alone. The clinicians and staff who joined the practice built Resova Health with him, and the patients who trusted them and referred others helped it grow across state lines. In 2019, for patients whose treatments had not worked, the team added ketamine therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation and opened what is now Resova Infusions and TMS in Fairfax, Virginia.
